Day by Day Itinerary

1

Day 1 – Fly Melbourne to Hobart

Our Tasmanian adventure begins as we fly from Melbourne to Hobart, Tasmania's charming capital. On arrival, we enjoy a city orientation tour, visiting the vibrant Salamanca Place with its iconic sandstone warehouses and waterfront atmosphere, and Constitution Dock — the famous finishing point of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. This evening we gather for a welcome dinner and settle into our comfortable Hobart accommodation.

2

Day 2 – Bruny Island Gourmet Experience

Today we take the ferry across the D'Entrecasteaux Channel to Bruny Island, one of Tasmania's most celebrated foodie destinations. We visit artisan producers including a renowned cheese maker and boutique chocolate producer, explore the scenic southern lighthouse, and enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch showcasing the island's exceptional local produce. Keep an eye out for Bruny Island's remarkable wildlife — sea eagles, Bennett's wallabies and little penguins call this beautiful island home.

3

Day 3 – Coal River Valley & Swansea

We begin the morning with a visit to the historic village of Richmond, home to Australia's oldest stone bridge and gaol, both beautifully preserved. From here we head into the Coal River Valley, one of Tasmania's premier cool-climate wine regions, for guided cellar door tastings and a leisurely winery lunch. This afternoon we continue north along the stunning east coast to the charming seaside town of Swansea, overlooking the sparkling Great Oyster Bay.

4

Day 4 – Freycinet National Park

Today we explore the spectacular Freycinet National Park. The breathtaking panoramic view from Wineglass Bay Lookout — where the perfect arc of white sand curves between the pink granite peaks of the Hazards — is one of Australia's most iconic vistas. We also visit the rugged Cape Tourville Lighthouse with its sweeping coastal views, before stopping at the acclaimed Devil's Corner Winery, perched on the shores of Great Oyster Bay, for tastings before continuing to Bicheno.

5

Day 5 – Bay of Fires

We travel north via the charming fishing village of St Helens to the extraordinary Bay of Fires — a coastline of blazing orange lichen-covered granite boulders and pristine white-sand beaches lapped by vivid turquoise water, consistently rated among the world's most beautiful coastlines. We continue inland to visit the famous Pyengana Dairy for artisan cheese tastings, and call in to the legendary Pub in the Paddock at Pyengana before arriving in Launceston.

6

Day 6 – Tamar Valley Food & Wine

We spend the day exploring the celebrated Tamar Valley, Tasmania's most productive wine region. We visit premium wineries for guided tastings, discover the region's exceptional artisan cheese producers, and enjoy a tasting at one of Tasmania's celebrated whisky distilleries. In season, the valley's spectacular lavender fields add a magical sweep of purple to the landscape. A gourmet lunch at one of the valley's finest cellar doors completes an indulgent day.

7

Day 7 – Cradle Mountain

Today we experience one of Australia's most iconic natural wonders — the magnificent Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. We spend the day exploring the park, taking in the dramatic mountain landscape from the shores of mirror-still Dove Lake, and visiting the Visitor Centre to learn about the region's extraordinary natural and human history. This evening we enjoy dinner at our Cradle Mountain lodge, a fitting end to a spectacular day.

8

Day 8 – Sheffield & Return Home

On our final morning we visit the charming town of Sheffield, famous for its spectacular collection of outdoor murals painted on buildings throughout the township — earning it the title of the Town of Murals. We also stop at the delightful Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm for a relaxed morning tea before making our way to the airport for our flight back to Melbourne, arriving home with wonderful memories of Tasmania's landscapes, world-class food and exceptional wines.
