Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Mirboo North, Waratah Bay & Yarram
Travel through the picturesque South Gippsland countryside, visiting the charming township of Mirboo North before continuing via Leongatha, Meeniyan and beautiful Waratah Bay. Arrive in Yarram, your home for the next three nights, and enjoy a relaxing dinner.
Day 2 – Wilsons Promontory National Park
Spend the day exploring the spectacular Wilsons Promontory National Park, renowned for its granite mountains, pristine beaches and abundant native wildlife. Enjoy time at Tidal River before visiting Foster, the impressive Agnes Falls and the historic fishing port of Port Welshpool.
Day 3 – Walhalla Goldfields Railway
Travel into the Baw Baw Ranges to the historic gold mining township of Walhalla. Enjoy a scenic return journey aboard the Walhalla Goldfields Railway through the spectacular Stringers Creek Gorge before returning via Traralgon. This afternoon discover the remarkable outdoor gallery of the Yarram Murals, featuring more than 25 large-scale artworks celebrating local stories and history.
Day 4 – Inverloch, San Remo & Home
Farewell Yarram and travel along the beautiful South Gippsland coast through Inverloch, Wonthaggi and Kilcunda. Stop in San Remo to watch the famous daily pelican feeding before beginning your journey home.
